Jenna Lusty: Supporting Communities Through Positive Action in the Community (PAC)
Helping Expand PAC’s Impact Across Hyndburn
Jenna Lusty is a dedicated fundraiser for Positive Action in the Community (PAC). A well-respected local charity that has been making a meaningful difference across East Lancashire for many years. As such, Jenna helps raise awareness, build partnerships, and generate vital support that allows PAC. This means the charity continues delivering life-changing services to vulnerable individuals, families, and young people.
Her work focuses on strengthening the charity’s reach while connecting local organisations, businesses, and community partners with the incredible support services PAC provides. With a warm and approachable nature, Jenna is passionate about helping people understand the real difference community support can make.
PAC’s mission has always centred on compassion, practical support, and long-term positive change. Jenna plays an important part in helping ensure those services continue to grow and reach the people who need them most.
PAC: Supporting Vulnerable People Across East Lancashire
Positive Action in the Community (PAC) provides a wide range of services designed to support individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. The charity works across several key areas, delivering support that helps people regain stability, confidence, and independence.
Among PAC’s vital services are:
SafeSpace
SafeSpace provides supported accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. The service offers a safe and stable environment where young people can access support, develop life skills, and work towards independent living.
With the recent expansion of SafeSpace into Hyndburn, Jenna is helping raise awareness of the new SafeSpace Hyndburn provision, ensuring that more young people in the local area have access to safe accommodation and the guidance they need to move forward.
Be Free
The Be Free project supports individuals, children, and families affected by domestic abuse. The service provides temporary safe accommodation, assistance in sourcing alternative housing, and community-based support.
This includes one-to-one and group support, advocacy, counselling, legal guidance, and a dedicated specialist team focused on helping children affected by domestic abuse.
EVOLVE Emotional Health & Wellbeing Service
The EVOLVE project offers therapeutic support, employability guidance, and youth development activities. These services support children, young people, and adults through preventive work designed to help people navigate life’s challenges and build resilience.
EVOLVE also delivers free Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Prevention training for people living or working across Lancashire.
PAC Are Strengthening Community Connections Through Networking
Jenna recently joined the Accrington Better Networking Hub, where she all set to make a positive contribution by building connections and raising awareness of PAC’s work within the local Accrington business community.
Her membership follows the success of PAC colleague, Leroy Philbrook, who has been a valued member of the Rossendale Better Networking Hub for some time. Leroy’s enthusiastic networking and dedication to the charity have helped significantly increase awareness and support for PAC across the region.
With PAC now expanding services into Hyndburn through SafeSpace Hyndburn, Jenna’s presence within the Accrington networking group strengthens those community connections even further. By building relationships with local businesses and professionals, she is helping create new opportunities for collaboration, fundraising, and community support.
Jenna’s friendly and engaging approach means she quickly builds rapport with people she meets, helping more organisations understand the impact PAC is making across East Lancashire.
